Not your ordinary Rose!
A native of Maryland, Elyse Rose has been singing and playing music for years. A choir member since elementary school, she has been around music since before she could remember and even played the flute for two years in middle school. This twenty year old songstress even graduated from Gwynn Park HS as the choir president. With a life wrapped around music, it’s not hard to see why she’s so musically verbose. Influenced by her father and his love for music, especially country music, she strives to create music to keep your head rocking and your feet tapping. Music to Ms. Elyse Rose is more than instruments and vocals, it is raw emotion lived out in a song.
While her love for music has been apparent for many years, Ms. Rose never exercised her talent until her teen years. She started out as Nikki in a female singing group called Tres’ Chic in her early teens. With one group under her belt, she moved on to singing solo. Noticed by many she then began working with many different local artists to compile a musical knowledge unknown to her peers. She joined a gospel go-go band called Genesis a few years after Tres’ Chic went their separate ways. Shortly after joining Genesis, she left due to time and location differences. In late 2009, Nikki, at that time known as Nikki B, joined another go-go band called L.O.V.E. Band. She left the band after several short months due to musical differences.
Today, Nikki B has transformed into Elyse Rose, a songstress with a soothing voice, powerful enough to be on the front lines for Blagrhythm. The future for Ms. Rose is brighter than her personality. Keep an eye out for her. She’ll be changing the game with Blaqrhythm there to support her every move.
